Founded in 2004 dadadans is the framework for Helle ach’s choreographic practice and vision — a dada-inspired universe reflecting the quirky, poetic, and ironic dimensions that live within all of us.
I’m moved by movement – wether participating or observing. For me movement is transition in between positions, it’s vitality, what happens when you breathe, when you are on the go to and from somewhere – in the air, on the street or in the thoughts hidden in the cavities of your brain. Movement is going toward someone, going away from a situation or simply enjoying the wind running over your face…. Movement moves idea’s, body and mind.
You can find dadadans on the traditional stage, in art museums, on the streets in direct contact with everyday life, on SoMe…
The company’s work is engaged with and sensitive to today’s society changing structures and our human social interaction.
dadadans’ wants to make the audience laugh and cry – by mirroring the banal realities of life as well as its poetic beauty.
dadadans is resident company at Bora Bora – Dance & Visual Theatre, Aarhus.
